ATLANTA — Outkast returns to their hometown to close out the rap duo's reunion tour in Atlanta.
Outkast finishes up a 40-city tour with a three-day music event, which kicks off Friday at Centennial Olympic Park. The group is celebrating 20 years in music since the release of their 1994 debut, "Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik."
The Grammy-winning rap duo, which consists of Andre "Andre 3000" Benjamin and Antwan "Big Boi" Patton, grew up in East Point, Georgia.
Other headliners of the shows include 2 Chainz, Janelle Monae, Future and B.o.B.
Outkast reunited on stage for the first time in 10 years at the Coachella Valley Arts & Music Festival in April. In five months, the group has performed across the world from Los Angeles, New York, Montreal, Australia, Japan and Sweden.
