Gulfport repairman accused of embezzlement - WDAM-TV

GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -

Gulfport Police Chief Leonard Papania said Sam Odaka Lubangakene of Gulfport has been arrested and charged with embezzlement.


Papania said Lubangakene was asked to do repairs for the victim at the 1800 block of 2nd Street in Gulfport.


An investigation revealed during the time he was hired April - May 2014, Lubangakene made over $3,500 in unauthorized purchases using the victim's credit card, according to Papania.


Lubangakene was booked at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center under a $5,000 bond.

Federal authorities say 34-year-old Carlos Miller, 31-year-old Julie Michelle Glass and 33-year-old and Randall Sheffield are accused in the conspiracy to sell the high-grade heroin out of the Ice Daiquiri Lounge.


The Sun Herald reports (http://bit.ly/1y4AfNx ) all three have pleaded not guilty on Tuesday. Magistrate Judge Robert H. Walker ordered all three held without bond pending grand jury review of the case for indictment.


It was unclear whether those arrested have attorneys.
