Current Head Start Parents, join Jackson County Civic Action Committee Head Start centers for a school readiness transitioning meeting along with your local school districts' principals. They will have K-5 packets to assist your child during the summer to prepare for the 2014-15 school term.

Jackson County Utility board meeting scheduled
The West Jackson County Utility District Board of Commissioners will be holding their regular board meeting at 9 a.m. on Friday at the District Office located at 7312 Rose Farm Road in Ocean Springs.
MS Audubon Society sets birding field trip
Mississippi Coast Audubon Society will have a birding field trip at Clower Thornton Nature Trail in Gulfport, on Saturday, April 12. Meet at railroad entrance to Clower Thornton at 8 a.m. For more information call 228-236-5240.
Diabetes Support Group meet April 17
Gulf Coast Health Educators along with the Ocean Springs Diabetes Support Group invite you to a meeting at Emanuel Baptist Church on Thursday, April 17 from 5-6 p.m. The speaker will talk about A1C Champions; live a full life while successfully managing your diabetes.

Jackson County Board of Education meeting planned
