A man who kidnapped his ex-girlfriend at gunpoint from her Baton Rouge home earlier on Monday was found in Gulfport, Mississippi.
Jeremiah Rodriguez, 34, is accused of abducting Viscaacuba James from her home located in the 1800 block of Stafford Ave. On Monday evening James was said to be in good health.
"There were children and two adults in the home," Casey Rayborn-Hicks, a spokesperson for the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's office told WAFB. "At around noon today, he left the home with the mother, his ex-girlfriend. She did not go willingly."
The sheriff's office says Rodriguez is from the New Orleans area.
