GULFPORT, Mississippi — A 41-year-old woman has pleaded guilty to stealing mail from the Picayune Carriere Annex Post Office.
The Sun Herald reports (http://bit.ly/1k3oJjb ) Sonya Katrice Davison accepted a plea agreement Tuesday in U.S. District Court.
Court records show Davison waived the right to indictment.
The charging document said Davison stole a package from the Veterans Administration from a post office shelf Jan. 28, 2013.
Davis faces up to five years in prison at her sentencing Aug. 21.
She was taken into custody after she pleaded guilty. Records show she also was wanted on a state warrant on a charge in Pearl River County Circuit Court.
